The Kea Club

For children in Fourth Term year 1 to Forth Term year 3 of Primary school.

The Group formed its only Kea Club in 1981, originally run on Thursday afternoons from 4.15 to 5.15 it moved to Mondays in late 1990. Closing again in 2005 and reopening in 2009 in its current time slot of 5 – 6 pm Mondays.

Program Components: outdoor pursuits, physical activities, creative expression, heritage & cultural understanding, service to family and community.

The Cub Pack

For children in Forth Term year 3 to Forth Term year 6.

Mondays 6:45 to 8:15  pm
Thursday 6:45 to 8:15 pm

Programme Components: Outdoors, Personal Development, New Experiences, and community.

The Scout Troop

For children in Forth Term year 6 to Forth Term year 10.

The Troop operated Tuesday nights 7 to 9 pm until 1971 when it transferred to similar times on Wednesday.

Turei Tuesday 7.00 to 9.00 (Opened 2 April 1985, Closed May 1986)
Wenerei Wednesday 7.00 to 9.00
Manurere Tuesday 7.00 to 9.00 (Opened August 1986, Closed December 1988)

The Troop has traditionally been a Land Scout Troop but between 1986 and 1988 strong links with Air Scout Activities existed and we ran a second Air Scout Troop. This tradition in air activities remains to day.

Between January 1979 and December 2011 a total of 424 boys and girls have attended Scouts at All Saints and of them 53 have completed and achieved their Chief Scouts Award. A scouts Troops highest award.

Program Components: outdoor pursuits, physical activities, cultural expression, heritage and cultural understanding, services to family and community.

The Venturer Unit

For Teenagers in Forth Term year 10 to 18 and 1/2 years old.

The unit first formed in September 1974 and closed in December 1975. It re-opened in April 1984 and has ran on Sunday Evenings  from 7 to 9 pm until 1998. Then in February 2002 reopened at our current time 7 – 9 pm on Tuesdays.

Since 1984 82 boys & girls have been invested into the unit with 13 members achieving their Queens Scout Award. Scouting highest Achievement.

Programme Components: Outdoor pursuits, physical recreation, personal development, Heritage & Cultural understanding, Community involvement.
